The CalmPlex MindBlock^TM puzzle consists of 12 pieces varying in size from 4 unit cubes to 7 unit cubes.

The object of this puzzle is to assemble these pieces into predefined shapes, two of which are the 8x8 checkerboard and the 4x4x4 cube.

All shapes produced by this puzzle are tessellated (checkerboard pattern).

There are 54 shapes called parallelepipeds* that may be produced by using 2 or more puzzle pieces. A degree of difficulty is associated with the number of pieces used and the individual shape attempted.

*A parallelepiped is a solid with all sides forming parallelograms.

Two sizes were produced. The larger being constructed using 2 cm (3/4") birch and walnut cubes and the smaller using 1 cm (3/8") cubes.
