My mother usually threw away those knick-knacks in the drawer every few years - usually plastic. The 'keepers' were always things made of wood.

Hello! My name is Andrew Snowie (Andy). I'm a retired airline worker. After 35 years in the business, through various airlines (thanks to deregulation), I finally took the 'package' and pursued my wooden puzzle and toy interests.

The recent recall of millions of toys (and pet food) that are made in China has prompted me to add this page to my site. Although this is a very small percentage of what is actually produced in China for the global toy market, it seems to have gained world-wide media attention.

Let this not be confused with 'Asia' in general. My products are produced in Vietnam and since 2003 this factory has expanded to 4 separate factory facilities. This factory is CE certified for the European Union and with that, uses only wood from sustainable forests, child-safe glues, stains, paints, and packaging.

China may have its growth problems in this new global world. Vietnam is a steady, and reliable, producer of safe quality products in the world market. It is for this very reason that I chose Mr. Paul Kim of DNTN KIM CHI HUNG back in 2003 to produce all my puzzles and toys for the global market.
